Monday Morning Papers 04
Real Madrid: Guti: “I never doubted”: Number 14 repeated at home for Marca his incredible backheel at the Riazor. Guti knew that his bit of genius would end in goal. It makes me happier making the backheel than scoring. “Albiol told me in the changing room that I was crazy: but this is my football. If I stay at this level I’ll make it difficult for Del Bosque. I will not give up the World Cup.” Pellegrini and Valdano stop the sale of Gago. Mosquera: “I asked the referee not to hit the whistle to try to make my debut.” Barcelona: this tackle by Messi only led to yellow. Black hand of the referee: Barca take 6 points in that “other league”. Laporta: “If I enter politics it would be to become President of the Generalitat.”Rest of the League: Villareal 0-1 Osasuna. Valverde fired. Tenerife 1-3 Zaragoza. Getafe 0-0 Racing. Xerez 2-1 Mallorca. Valladolid 1-1 Almeria. Sevilla 2-1 Valencia. Reaction: Give Guti a chance, and he will break your heart, so let Marca continue their Guti love. As for the Gago sale? Why would they. He is at best 4 best behind Xabi Alonso, Lass, Diarra and Granero in that central midfielder’s role. Even Guti, banished to the dungeons of the Santiago Bernabeu is ahead of him right now, so really, if Manchester City is willing to overpay for a worthless primadonna like Gago, remind me again why he wasn’t sold? Laporta? Good riddance: an embarrassment to the club considering how well his tenure started and how chaotic an organization he inherited from Joan Gaspart. Valverde? I told you so. The shadow of Pellegrini is too great for such a small club. They should have hired someone to continue what was not broken outside of Castellon.

Laporta in Avui.cat: I am capable of governing Catalunya. I have demonstrated it these years running Barca. Real Madrid: Guti: After his Golden Backheel in the Riazor: “I saw Benzema was coming strong and I…did what was easy. The yoouth-team players should be the basis of Madrid and after that, have great players. Spaniards that bring great quality and alot of heart and then add the starts.” Barcelona: The Villarato has given 4 points to Barca in the Molinon. With Sporting, it took two from Madrid and gave them to the blaugrana. Villareal: Valverde fired after losing to Osasuna. Juan Carlos Garrido, in charge of the you-team, will take over until the rest of the season.
Reaction: An interesting thing this Villarato. Named after the former President of the RFEF, Angel Maria Villar, a former Athletic Bilbao player and supposed anti-madridista, this Villarato is a phenomenon instituted to “grant titles to FC Barcelona at the expense of Real Madrid.” Horse pucky. In the years since his installation at the head of Spanish Football Federation, Real Madrid have won 10 titles and FC Barcelona have won 9. Doesn’t really look like much of an advantage for the “Black Hand” of the cules.

Question: Why does GolTv only televise either Barca or Real Madrid over the weekend, not both of their matches?
Because ESPN Deportes will transmit the other match more often than not
